The DDD Walkthrough module presents an overview of DDD as a discipline: you will learn its fundamental concepts and see how different areas of DDD fit together – and why you want to bother with models in the first place.

Eric will introduce you to the shipping example that he uses throughout the course to explain various aspects of DDD. Then, using this example, he will walk you through evaluation of the existing design, explain the value of creative collaboration between software experts and business experts and generating ideas, describe how to select a model and define fundamental DDD concepts.
